Our story
Peaks & kisses.
Why PICOS?
One word, two journeys.
Picos
noun — the peaks
The summits of the Andes, where the country's finest coffees grow. The climb, the effort, and the reward of a view that steals your breath.
Picos
noun — the kisses
In Colombia, friends greet each other with “picos”. Warmth, sharing, and the encounters that turn a trip into a memory.
Our mission
Adventure, no plane ticket required.
It all started with a backpack and a one-way ticket to Bogotá. Months of climbing, homestays, and scalding tintos shared at 5 a.m. We came home determined to share that Colombia with everyone.
A specialty coffee, traced back to the family who grew it, paid fairly — and told like an adventure.

Colombia's summits
Three mountain ranges, one vertical country.

The growers
34 families, 34 friendships.
We know every grower by first name. We visit them every year, pay twice the market price, and fund village projects together: dryers, schools, training.
From summit to cup
The journey of a bean.
01
Picking
Cherry by cherry, by hand, along the ridges.
02
Drying
In the sun or under greenhouses, depending on the sky.
03
Crossing
By ship, in jute sacks, all the way to Le Havre.
04
Roasting
In small batches in Paris, every week.
05
Your cup
The last mile — and the most important.
